If you wake up today in the mood to hear almost 30 minutes of blasphemous Death Metal from the United States, I recommend to stop reading this and get this album in your nearest record store.

If you wake up today in the mood to hear something ground-breaking, innovative and creative that will push forward the boundaries of the Metal scene and will be a milestone album in years to come, well, look elsewhere, because here you will only find a blasphemous Death Metal release.

Is really tricky to review these Death Metal albums, because they offer too little innovation, and each act can be compared to other, and I try to avoid as much doing that in my reviews.
In this case, we have a case of very typical Death Metal, which offer some variation between songs, but not enough to differentiate themselves from the rest of the pack.

The songs offer some variation in the vocals, a grunted one and a shrieked one conform a pretty scary duet if you ask me. Not all songs are full speed ahead, so that adds a little originality to the mix, but like I said before, neither the vocals nor the tempo variations are enough to make these guys really stand up from the rest of bands playing this type of music, and it's a shame because I had some hopes put in this album, it even has a nice cover art and everything.

Maybe this album proves my theory that Americans are a little rusty in the ancient art of Heavy Metal, because I haven't received anything worth my praise from the land of Uncle Sam this year so far.
So, in a nutshell, a good album to headbang because it has some killer solos, but not a influential album, and I think that this release will pass unnoticed by the European market, too bad, I know people that would have liked this.
