Just imagine: take a band like In Flames, mix it with Lacuna Coil and add some progressive elements. Is it not interesting? I think so, and actually if you are already interested by this little description, I'm sure that you should have a look on this review, because Chaoswave plays this kind of music, and yes it sounds good so?

"The White Noise Within", the first album of this band from Italy is extremely fresh and new. Of course, as I said in my introduction, there are a lot of influences that come from different bands but still, they have a personal sound and this sound is really cool. The music is not slow, at the opposite it's fast, with a lot of melodies and the rhythm are super catchy. There are also two singers a guy who sings with a clean voice and a girl who has a really beautiful voice too. They're really complementary and it fits perfectly with the power of the music. It's really nice to listen to it and even if it can sound like Melodic Death you won\'t be able to find Death vocals on this album.

But "The White Noise Within" is also a complex album. There are a lot of different ambiances and the songs are super complex (a bit like with Nevermore). It's a real mix of Prog Metal, Thrash, Melodic Death with some really dark and atmospheric ambiances (I have to admit it, Giorgia helps a lot on this point). It's really refreshing, I don't remember a lot of bands that plays this kind of Metal: Chaoswave is original and that's great. So if you add that the production is really good, that the musicians (with the singers evidently) are really good, at the end you can understand that "The White Noise Within" is a really good album, and I think that a lot of people will like it.

All in all, "The White Noise Within" is a really impressive album. For a first try, Chaoswave scores a really nice goal and believe me that I will check their future releases. This band is a really good newcomer and I'm ready to bet a lot of money that they will find a super success. Just have a look on this release and you'll understand what I mean?
