Oki before anything else, take your leather jacket and your Harley and then we will be able to continue this review. Is it ok? Yes?, good so now we can start to review this album of pure Iron/Judas Heavy Metal

It won't be hard for me to present the music of Patan. Why? Well actually they use to play something that we all know. A mix of Heavy Metal with really high vocals a la Judas Priest mixed with catchy melodies a la Iron Maiden. Though, even if their singer sings in Spanish, the music it's really similar to our two British bands. But it's good, and we have some potential powerful hits like "El Vuelo Del Dragón" or "El Comandante Fiel" and even some ballads like "Arrancando El Dolor" and "Nadie Estará". Between fast and mid tempo, and in reason of the difference between each song, we have a lot of variations on this album, and that's good?

So oki, the only problem of this album actually comes from its lack or originality. I mean that except the lyrics in Spanish (really cool but a bit kitsch sometime) the music of Patan isn't really new. They're good and "Acero" is a good album for sure, plus they have a really good production so it's hard to criticize their last release but if you're bored by this kind of music you won't find anything that will give you the feeling that you cannot miss this release. However I'm sure that the "exotic" touches, of the Spanish language, will please the ones who want something else than English.

Yes, this "Acero" is not a revolution, we have a lot of others bands that play in the same category and they did the same music, before our band from Argentina. However there is no doubt Patan is a good band and all the ones who like good catchy Heavy Metal and Spanish lyrics will have to check this one. You couldn't be disappointed by this release?
