Accept normally have straight-to-the-point simple album covers that generally refelect the title - There not trying to prove anything more or less than what's said, and that's simple. Look at the lastest one. |

Hahaha good idea for this man!
Though i do like the Reinkaos cover, its basic and too the point. most of the album is about the 11 luciferian gods(i think...not sure exactly) which is represented in the 11 points of this symbol. |

I'm not saying that all 'simple' album covers are bad, but believe it or not there ones that hit the mark ever so well, subtle and sensible and others that dissapoint for the worse. Ones I find work are like Candlemasses' self titled, With Oden On Our Side, Danzig I, De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas, Master Of Reality, Volume 4 etc...
Because Slipknot popularised that logo did it after ALL of their great but few looking releases put Dissection in the toilet. If that 12 gods concept is right. Surely that would now make that cover look even more dissapointingly bad as something like that, not to mention Dissection's music surely must grab expression and image. Even though as reflected both in ways the album was bland. |
