Another underrated confession, yet this time around it took considerably longer to decide where for what for where. Hell, I could have put all of Hell Awaits, Haunting The Chapel and most of South Of Heaven and God Hates Us All in it. It's in order yet not that much difference. Just listen to them...

Some very questionable (as to how underrated they are) choices.
I'd say 213 and SS-3 are two of the most well known tracks off Divine Intervention, besides Killing Fields, ofc. Altar of Sacrifice and Necrophobic? Dunno, but really?
Payback and Deviance are underrated for a reason.
also I lol'd@the lack of any tracks off Diabolus in Musica. It must be inhumanely bad if Payback can wind up here. |

213 never gets enough plays and has SS-3 ever been played?
You haven't heard Diabolus in Musica, have you? What I deem to be classed as underrated are of what I hear to find enjoyable and hardly ever known fascinated enough by those artists. As for Killing Fields and for some of Diablous In Musica are what I wouldn't what I'd call underrated but instead downright generic Slayer boredom. That album RARELY ever clicks... |

213 and SS-3 are some of the most known, directly because of their lyrical connections (Jeffrey Dahmer and Reinhard Heydrich, respectively).
Okay, so Diabolus in Musica doesn't click, but fucking Payback and Deviance off GHUA do? GHUA, in many aspects, isn't much better than Diabolus, really. Once you get tired of the whole "omfg that's one testosterone-filled guitar tone" at first, it starts to show its nature. |

Most known... to a degree, which sadly reflects on how much they were played. Hell, they got more controversy than single plays themselves...
I've never really been sure with God Hates Us All to be honest it's always has a pendulum swing of ether finding it some of Slayer's more underrated, fun material - But then turning back to the whole exact "testosterone-tone" feeling which I half agree upon what you think of it. To think of it, if I can exactly, I think this is Slayer's best sounding album production-wise and it now works on me which years ago when Christ Illusion just got out it didn't hardly compared to know - Because Christ Illusion is too fucking serious...
I don't know why exactly but there must be reason behind why GHUA has a bigger iTunes play count than I thought
Most of these songs are the "more played" songs of my iTunes when it comes to the factor coincidentally. |
