Think it's a bit too close to the old atmos black sound which I became pretty sick of last year but it's still pretty tasty stuff.

As far as I'm concerned, 2011 can happen all over again.

Uh, in black metal, that is. Not some other stuff I won't be mentioning.

How is the community service going by the way?

Who would have guessed a police car would drive by that farm at that hour of the morning....

I still have absolutely no idea if there even was a police car, or was it simply drug-induced guilt and halucinations that led to give myself up.

It probably didn't do you any favours that you were still... ahem, attached to the animal when you gave yourself up.

Well, the farmer's daughter was fugly as hell, but I wouldn't call her an animal... that's just rude. :/

Great shit.

There's a band named after the most ridicilous campaign setting in D&D (and all role-playing, no doubt)? Must check them out!

I seriously need to listen to these Faal guys sooner or later.

Awesome list. Sigh is starting to grow on me a lot, and you reminded me about Diskord, which I really need to listen to.

Cheers. To be honest I haven't updated this list in months as I've momentarily lost interest in trying new stuff (so hit and miss). Just been going for the stuff I know and that I will probably like.

Occultation was quite nice, though too repetitive. Actually I didn't find it via this list, but when I listened to it, I thought myself that this could be in Joe's list, and there it was.

Yeah it's very much my kind of thing, and I do agree, it is somewhat repetitive. Nameless Void has a great and unique playing style but sometimes it gets rather samey and aimless. I haven't revisited the album much since this list.

Yes, too samey and aimless is the biggest trouble.

That Emptiness song sounds awesome. The only death metal I've come across this year that really intrigued me (besides Flourishing's ep) was Ævangelist.

There's only two tracks on youtube, off that album at least. It's about $10 on I, Voidhanger's webstore, I think I'll be ordering my copy when i get home. It's been one of the few DM albums I've enjoyed this year so it's worth it...
