| Don't agree, A Matter Of Life And Death should be around 11 or something and the first 2 albums were absolutely magnificent. Also the albums between the Bruce Dickinson periodes were not bad. |

Opinions... AMOLAD is easily my favorite Maiden album, I think it's their most dynamic work and contains their best songwriting. The first 2 albums were good, but not as good as albums like Brave New World or Powerslave. The Blaze era albums weren't bad songwriting wise (though the worst of Maiden), but they had a horrible production which killed a lot of the dynamism that for example Martin Birch brought to the their albums. |

| Each to their own I suppose. I agree with your bottom 4, but would have put Fear Of The Dark in the top 2 along with SSOASS. |

| Fear of the dark is in my opinion the worst album there were in total 2 good songs the rest is terrible. But Number of the Beast has definitely the best songs but not the whole album through. AMOLAD is a good album but it doesn't give me goosebumbs. ssoass would be at the botom because it isn't really Heavy Metal like they supposed to make. |
