What's doom about Ihsahn?
EDIT: Oh yeah, I got it. It's a mix of doom metal and prog metal (separate genres). But the list name is quite misleading, I suggest you change it.

Yeah, you're right. Emperor isn't really either progressive or doom either, but they definitely have loads of tragedy in their music. I guess that's sort of what I'm going for in this list. A mix of albums with foreboding/omnious tones and/or albums with badass progressive jams.
