For each year that I have albums in my (metal storm) collection, this is the best, in my opinion. Pretty self-explanatory. Not counting compilations or DVDs.

Nice list and good idea for a list. Although I wouldn't be able to do it because pretty much everything I listened to is from the 90's and 00's. On top of that, some years have just too many awesome albums I could never choose, while other years have the exact opposite.  I hate the fact that Kiss is on this list though.  |

I even have to admit, it was more coincidence that some of the albums earlier into the list were so awesome, because my collection certainly gets sparse when it comes to the 70's and the couple of albums I have from the 60's that are on MS. 
The inclusion of KISS on this list I believe was by default for that year (off the top of my head I'm pretty sure it's my only album from '74) BUT I honestly think their s/t is a classic. They are dodgy these days, no question about it, but that album came from before they exploded and it was a solid hard rock album, really awesome melodies on it and just one of my favourites to jam to or play some songs from. However I understand why not everyone would agree with that choice xD
My MS collection has about 200 albums or so, with a pretty high concentration in the 80's, and I did have to contemplate a few of the years. In fact I even gave Skeletonwitch and Warning a tie for 2007 because I just can't put one of those two over the other.  |

| No problem with seeing a Kiss album on that list AT ALL, as long as it is before 1979 (Dynasty) even though I Was Made For Loving You got me into metal. |
