I meant Crimson I, but I don't know about the second, because I haven't listened to it yet. |

Its pretty mediocre compared to the first, I think Swano was just trying to force the length of it and it sounds boring because of it. |

Crimson II is almost as good as Crimson I. If you haven't listened to it you should probably make it your priority and generally ignore the future opinions of anyone who calls it a "dud" or thinks it's boring |

Agreed on all accounts. I think the only reason I don't enjoy CII as much is simply just because CI is that awesome. |

Indeed! You can't have too much of a good thing where the Crimsons are concerned. II is just a little heavier on synths but still has plenty of awesome in it. |

I'll join the choir of Crimson II lovers. But then, I'm a big EoS fan, so I might not be too objective.
I have another question - why post a dry list of 40+ albums without a word of explanation? Makes for a boring read if you ask me... |

| Thanks for the input, I don't really like to rate material, because my interests change. So I made a list of material that I still throw in on occasion and listen to every song, Basically these albums have retained their "impact", and some are good intros into specific material you might not be familiar with. For me these albums have "staying power", I hope someone finds something new to enjoy here. Thanks again all, D |

| I have never grown tired of Falconer's self-titled album, Mothership, I, III, IV (Led Zeppelin), Animals, Dark Side of the Moon, Echoes, The Wall (Pink Floyd), or Design Your Universe (Epica). There are plenty more as well. |

| @Jpage, I haven't heard Falconer, I'll have to check it out. Your Zeppelin and Floyd choices are excellent albums, two of the best bands ever to exist, but I tried to restrict the list to Metal releases (though there are a couple that I just find entertaining that I thought others might've never heard, that I added). I still listen to Rock as a change of pace and to suit the mood of the day, but 90% of the time there's something heavy spinnin. I'll revisit Epica also, thx D |
