This is the final set of my most favourite albums in 2012

1. Fear Factory - The Industrialist
Futuristic climates from 'Obsolete' mixed with power of 'Demanufacture' and new sound from 'Mechanize' - result of this combination is very energetic. Fear Factory proved once again, that their recipe on music is still strong and effective. The best songs: Depraved Mind Murder, Recharger, New Messiah, Difference Engine, God Eater
2. Overkill - The Electric Age
Their new effort is even better and more savage, than last one. The best songs: Good Night, Come And Get It, Electic Rattlesnake, Whish You Were Dead, Save Yourself
3. Pastore - The End of Our Flames
What an awesome release is this. This album is definately worth your attention especially if you like classic heavy mixed with more modern sound. The best songs: Envy, Brutal Storm, The End of Our Flames
4. Seven Kingdoms - The Fire Is Mine
If you like guitar oriented power metal with thrashy sound, this stuff is for you. Fans of Iced Earth will be satisfied. The best songs: The King In The North, Flame of Olympus, Forever Brave, Kardia
5. Kreator - Phantom Antichrist
Huge progress. Better sound, much heavier riffs and better compositions are making this stuff better, than last one. The best songs: Victory Will Come, Civilisation Collapse, Phantom Antichrist
6. Dark Empire - From Refuge To Ruin
Don't rate this stuff only because of your sentiment to Jens Carlsson. This album is a new chapter for Dark Empire. Fans especially of last Symphony X and power/thrash metal should be satisfied. The best songs: Dark Seeds od Depravity, Lets Ye Be Judget, Dreaming In Vengeance, Black Hearts Demise
7. The Faceless - Autotheism
This is my greatest discovery of 2012. This young band is in possession of all possible arguments, that will help them in making a huge career in metal business. The best songs: In Solitude, Authoteism Movement III: Deconsecrate
8. Jeff Loomis - Plains of Oblivion
This guy don't need any introduction. The best songs: Mercurial, The Ultimatum, Escape Velocity
9. Luca Turilli's Rhapsody - Ascending To Infinity
Congratulations to Luca Turilli for making the best european power metal album of the year and the best stuff since at least 10 years. The best songs: Tormento El Passione, Of Micheal The Archangel And Lucifer's Fall, Ascending To Infinity
10. Nile - At The Gate Of Sethu
My top favourite death metal album of the year with simply awesome drumming. Such a shame, that production isn't the best. The best songs: Tribunal of The Dead, The Fiends Who Come To Steal The Magick Of The Deceased, The Inevitable Degradation Of Flesh
11. Opera Diabolicus - 1614
Usually, I am avoiding the projects called 'dream team', but I made an exception this time and I am very satisfied. This stuff is definately something else, than regular metal stuff. Highly recommended to fans of darker sound.
12. Galneryus - Angel of Salvation
Second album with new singer is even better, than previous. Another great work from these guys.
13. Gojira - L'enfant Sauvage
This is 100% Gojira. Much better than their last album, but...'From Mars To Sirius' is still their best effort. The best songs: L'enfant Sauvage - the best song of the year.
14. Mercurio - Bautismo De Fuego
Must have for fans of bands like Dream Evil or Iron Maiden with more modern sound. You will love also their awesome spanish singer.
15. Kamelot - Silverthorn
After last two albums with Khan, who was burned and without panache, changes were unavoidable. With new singer Kamelot became fresh and energetic once again.
16. Firewind - Few Against Many
Their last album wasn't good. With this stuff Gus and his team returned to their best form.
17. Sybreed - God Is An Automaton
Not as good, as last two albums, but still very high level.
18. Angelus Apatrida - The Call
This isn't most well known thrash metal band, but if you like savage and energetic wall of modern sound with very high technicall level, this album will satisfy your needs.
19. Primal Fear - Unbreakable
After their last album, I did not take their latest album as a priority. However, after listening to the new album first I was very pleasantly surprised. With this stuff they came back from the bottom of the well to their best form.
20. Van Halen - A Different Kind of Truth
This is the biggest event of the year and one of their best albums in their discography.
