I hope this list will be good like 2012's, which I still need to work on. I think I might listen to that DKM album too, I like what I've heard from them and I feel as if I'm neglecting punk, I couldn't name 10 punk songs or bands, and that's sad.

Random anecdote not relating at all to the content of the list which is of little to no interest to me:
IS it actually sad not to be knowledgeable about it or is it just an area where you have more to explore? The point of me saying this is often times in the metal community it seems like an atmosphere of "I like this obscure band with one demo limited to 0.5 copies, swag".. I think this kind of thing has made people feel like they need to know everything about everything... And I wouldn't listen to something for the sake of knowing about it, I would listen to explore and see if it interests me...
just letting my mind wander sorry for spamming up your list thread Freddybu

sorry for the late reply, havent noticed this comment before
i believe it just leaves "an area where you have more to explore". but i'd listen to things just for the sake of knowing about it, that in a way is exploration. i've found some of my favourites among stuff i'd never thought i'd like.
Fair enough, I agree too that some albums which I really had little to no expectations for have ended up being good, and ones that are well out of the boundaries of stuff I usually listen to but at the same time they have expanded those boundaries.
as for the late reply: I AM USED TO BEING THE SOCIAL WALLFLOWER THAT GUY STANDING ALONE IN THE CORNER AT THE PARTY ITS NOTHING NEW #cutforbieber
