2020 - Stare Into Social Distancing And Be Still

Well this year has been an utter gong show to say the least. Outside of my NFL team winning the Super Bowl there hasn't been much for good news. Post tax season trip to Hawaii...cancelled. Migration Fest 2020...postponed to October 2021. Just a shitty year life wise. At least there are still amazing artists out there churning out excellent releases to keep us entertained during these unprecedented times. 2020 is lucky it shares the same release year as a new Ulcerate album otherwise I'd completely write it off.

Top notch picks.

I think you'll like the new Fange
Father: How can a picture of a field be sad without a sad person looking sad in the field?
Young Woman: That's an interesting problem. Yeah, I struggle with that.

Thanks! I finally got around to listening to the new Fange. I think I preferred Punir over their new one. The new one had more industrial than I was anticipating. I'll have to give it another go though.

Great list with a lot of albums I gave a high score too. (Ulcerate, Vassafor, Temple Nightside, Black Curse, Panzerfaust...) A bit underwhelmed by Skeleton though.

Thanks! Those are some of the albums I've repeatedly gone back to this year. All excellent releases. It's been awhile since I've listened to the Skeleton album with everything that's been coming out in the recent weeks. It was fairly catchy from what I recall but not necessarily memorable. I'm a big fan of most 20 buck releases so i keep tabs on most of their stuff. I'm not much for industrial so I skipped their two most recent ones.
