Does not include singles, EPs, live albums, etc. The notable omissions are in no particular order and have received a rating of at least 8.0. There are a few years that I don't have very many albums from but I'm working on expanding that. Please make recommendations! I put a lot of effort into this list and would love some feedback. Here is my provisional favorite-metal-albums-of-all-time-list! Enjoy!
The first 10 albums are in pretty accurate order. However, after that, it becomes harder and harder to separate the albums clearly. Thus, you can say that I enjoy album x on the list as much as the others in the interval of (x-5) to (x+5). For example album 37 would be as much enjoyed as 32, 33, 34, ..., 42, or something like that.

This list isn't really in a set order except the first five, which really were just far and away my top 5. Then everything up to Aspera (or Above Symmetry as they are now called...I will keep it as Aspera for the list purposes tho, since that is who they were when the album was released) is the next tier. Everything after that is kinda in shambles.
