In my very humble opinion, this albums are what made my 2012 more awesome. Yes, some of them are not as good as many other releases, I even may think that some titles do not deserve a greater score, but hey, this albums at least have a huge "replay" value, and that's what makes them so special to me. |

Some of these have really changed since the MS awards, since I found myself enjoying certain albums way more than others, which likely would have been on my list otherwise. |

Top 20 Albums Of 2012
A really good year, full of surprises. Never been much of a Sabaton fan and especially not a fan of Lamb of God. Both bands released kick ass albums. Avatar keep on getting better and better. Rush released their best album in 25 years. Kreator gave me one of the best thrash albums I've ever heard. |

Quite opposite to 2011, which featured both freakingly awesome releases (Terra Tenebrosa, Lazuli, Thy Catafalque...) and crap that redefined crap (Lulu or Illud Divinum Isanus), 2012 was quite consistent. Sadly, consistently average. OK, consistently quite correct, but groundbreaking releases were few and far between... |
