Delivering The... Judas Priest Ranking I'm not good at making a click baity list name, but here is my Judas Priest ranking. Not an easy thing to do, I could switch a couple of them around. Just like Iron Maiden, no lists look the same.

Best Of 1988… The Year That Defined My Metal Life While 1987 woke me up to metal and I hoovered up the likes of Iron Maiden, Metallica and Helloween’s keepers, 1988 was my metal heyday and a year that produced albums that would still dominiate my top 20 list today. Lots of power metal and plenty of Noise Records!

Mixed Discography Ranking - Maiden, Priest, And Sabbath This is the most unquestionably difficult ranking I could undertake. The # of albums I consider borderline flawless from each of these bands is ridiculous. Over a dozen albums from these 3 bands have legitimate arguments to be considered the greatest traditional heavy metal album of all time.
I have a few rankings that are likely hot takes here ** Yes, I like Dance of Death more than most folks. Title track and Paschendale are both top 10 Maiden songs, and Montsegur is only a small step behind that. Those 3 songs are better than anything on Brave New World to me, but the rest of BNW is better and higher quality. ** Yes I kinda like Turbo. It's silly but it's fun and the guitar work and Rob's vocals are absolutely stellar. That kinda sucks about Ram It Down, it's got some of Priests' best lead guitar work and I don't think Rob ever sounded better, but dear lord, some of those songs... As for the top 6 albums here, honestly put them in whatever order you want. They're that close to me and mood depending it could change

Metal At The End Of The 80’s 88-89 The eighties was the most productive decade in metal history, the biggest bands born during this decade Iron Maiden, Dio, Slayer, Death, Metallica… for named a few.

New genres of metal start’s in the 80’s Speed Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal, Thrash Metal , the rise and fall of the Glam Rock and the first sign in what dominated the nineties alternative and Grunge. Judas Priest Albums Ranked From Best To Worst As You can see on the ratings I'm not the largest Priest fan even if I enjoy most of their records to some extent. There's something with their style that didn't click with me in the way other similar bands did (Iron Maiden, Saxon for example).
I would however never downplay the importence of their legacy in the history of metal. They are truly up there along with Black Sabbath, Scorpions, Deep Purple as the bands that early on shaped heavy metal.

Album & Artist Impressions (Part 2) A list of albums I listen to and rated with a small commentary. This list is not meant to have an order, or a best-to-worst classification.
For some reason, I could not fill in more stuff on the first list, beyond no. 61. Probably due to word limit. Links to other lists: Album & Artist Impressions (Part 1)
