The Worst "Popular" Metal Albums

I realize the importance of these albums to the genres, and the influence they have had. however I do not find these albums really that great and pleasurable due to the competition and elimination through these decades of musical evolution. I respect these bands for releasing something so creative, conceptual and also brought us to the new dimension in the past.

1.Atheist - Unquestionable Presence
2.Amorphis - Tales From The Thousand Lakes
3.Amon Amarth - Twilight Of The Thunder God
4.Accept - Restless And Wild
5.Accept - Balls To The Wall

Iron Maiden: Best To 15th Best (The Scientific Approach)

I've been a big Maiden fan for many a year and I always had my favourite four or five albums, but what I've done here is listened to each album again in the order of their release and given each song a score out of ten and then got the average for each album.
I've also tried to take into account production, artwork and musicianship etc, but ultimately it's the songs that make the album imo.
It's strictly my taste and I know it will differ from some people's choices but hey ho...enjoy!

1.Iron Maiden - Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
2.Iron Maiden - Powerslave
3.Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time
4.Iron Maiden - Piece Of Mind
5.Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast

The Iron Maiden List

Because today is the 10 year anniversary of me purchasing my first Iron Maiden album, I decided to do what every other Maiden fan on this site has already done: create an "Iron Maiden album ranking" list. Yes, yet another one. Maiden was my first favourite metal band and remains one of my favourite bands to this day. They also opened up a whole new world of music for me and I can trace most of the stuff I've listened to since back to Maiden, either directly or indirectly. So, without further dudes, let us begin.

1.Iron Maiden - Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
2.Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast
3.Iron Maiden - Piece Of Mind
4.Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time
5.Iron Maiden - Powerslave

My Maiden hangover - songs I'd gladely see Iron Maiden skip during their live shows

What's a Maiden hangover? You know a regular hangover, right? It's really bad, your head hurts and you feel ill. You know you still love beer, but you don't want it for a while. That's how I've felt about some Iron Maiden songs for a couple of years now. I've seen Maiden six times since 2005, and that's not even during the same tours. Still I feel like they play the same couple of songs over and over again. I can understand why, being a huge band with some monumental metal classics. But a little variety, please! I went to a show last night and thought during it "it's enough now". One of the best things about seeing the same bands over and over again, is to witness them play different songs. One that I haven't already experienced live. But this never happens with Maiden, we get like 1-2 songs they haven't played in a while. And its not just witnessing the same songs over and over again, it's the fucking same coreography during them too!

1.Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden
2.Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden
3.Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden
4.Iron Maiden - Killers
5.Iron Maiden - Killers
