Here is a list of my favourite albums of all time (that are on Metalstorm). I have limited it to one album per band. The albums are ordered in alphabetical order. The list is subject to change over time, but nearly all albums on here are set in stone and have been extremely influential on my musical tastes. If you think you have an album that could squeak its way onto this list, by all means suggest away.

I realize the importance of these albums to the genres, and the influence they have had. however I do not find these albums really that great and pleasurable due to the competition and elimination through these decades of musical evolution. I respect these bands for releasing something so creative, conceptual and also brought us to the new dimension in the past.

I've been a big Maiden fan for many a year and I always had my favourite four or five albums, but what I've done here is listened to each album again in the order of their release and given each song a score out of ten and then got the average for each album.
I've also tried to take into account production, artwork and musicianship etc, but ultimately it's the songs that make the album imo.
It's strictly my taste and I know it will differ from some people's choices but hey ho...enjoy!

Because today is the 10 year anniversary of me purchasing my first Iron Maiden album, I decided to do what every other Maiden fan on this site has already done: create an "Iron Maiden album ranking" list. Yes, yet another one. Maiden was my first favourite metal band and remains one of my favourite bands to this day. Iron Maiden, an inspirational band and a metal band that has truly stood the test of time. Iron Maiden is not my favorite band, but the most significant band in my life. I stumbled upon them almost accidently one fateful day at a Circuit City in May of 2005. I liked the artwork and wanted to listen to something different. Once I popped it in my CD player, I was never the same again....
