Metal Albums That Will Melt Your Face These albums are currently on my iPod. This is also my first list on MS. Last couple of albums aren't metal, but worth a mention. What do you think?

Album Of The Year (1993-2013) By Vez The best album of each year (and one close 2nd) from the past 20 years. Some years were much harder than others to choose the best 2 albums.

KB's Favorite Albums Of All Time (Only Metal) Here is my provisional favorite-metal-albums-of-all-time-list! Enjoy!
The first 10 albums are in pretty accurate order. However, after that, it becomes harder and harder to separate the albums clearly. Thus, you can say that I enjoy album x on the list as much as the others in the interval of (x-5) to (x+5). For example album 37 would be as much enjoyed as 32, 33, 34, ..., 42, or something like that.

Ace Frawley's Desert Island Discs Based on the original BBC radio program from 1942 that asked "if you were to be cast away alone on a desert island, which eight gramophone records would you choose to have with you, assuming of course, that you had a gramophone and an inexhaustible supply of needles".
Pretty f&rkin' hard to choose just eight albums but I've given it a go. Hope it never happens because I'd probably get sick of these awesome albums after just a few weeks - then what!?

My Top 75 Albums Of All Time My top 75 favourite albums of all time (initially it was a top 20 list, and after that top 50). Only 1 album per band. The list is in alphabetical order, so it doesn't represent explicitly which album is my absolute favourite (I don't have one). All albums on this list have earned at least a 9/10 rating. Albums with a star (★) have received a 10/10 rating from me. I've added genres and my favourite songs.

My Favourite Albums, One Per Band. I tried to put one album per band, so it was a fucking hard choice in many cases.
Anyway, all of them are great albums in it' genre. No order followed.

Iron Recommends: A Metal Selection Yep, one of those lists. Everyone has one, so I thought I'd make a list of metal albums I really recommend.
This is not an absolute "best-of" list, for a few reasons: 1) I stick to one album per band, unless there's been a drastic style shift (like Katatonia's). 2) I try to cover all major subgenres fairly, so I have something for everyone. It counterbalances the tendency to list all the cool bands in a style I'm into right now (like drone or epic doom).
