The Metal Art Of Thrashing (Ordered By Years)

So another year has gone by in Thrash Metal history, with this new year comes a new presentation. So by now you should know my list, if not well stop sleeping son. Consider this piece of work as a ''Searching Tool'' or some sort of ''Encyclopedia'' of the greatest Thrash Metal releases. From the very known classics like *Exodus - Bonded By Blood* to the more hidden jewels like *Believer's - Extraction From Mortality* I've got it all. I know it might look exhaustive but after many user's complaints I decided to add this guide so here are few tricks to browse it efficiently.

1. Discharge - Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing
2. Metallica - Kill 'Em All
3. Suicidal Tendencies - Suicidal Tendencies
4. Slayer - Show No Mercy
5. Dr. Know - Plug-In Jesus

Tasty Stuff Not Currently Featured On MS

My other lists:
Most Talented Vocalists In Metal

All hail Bandcamp. Most of the music you will find here is progressive, avant-garde, or experimental in nature. That being said, there's something here for everyone - just search for your favourite sub-sub-sub-sub-sub...you get it. A large portion of these artists will let you "name the price" for their album(s) - go ahead, you can't resist the temptation to test it out before inevitable purchase.

1. Back To R'lyeh - The Awakening / Last Fight Of The Primordial
2. Telepathy - 12 Areas
3. Torrential Downpour - Truth Knowledge Vision
4. David Maxim Micic - Bilo 3.0

Playing To My Strengths: Facing Death And Its Technicalities

What to expect; incredibly challenging and technically-proficient death metal, or death metal noted for stifling and dense atmospheric prevalence, or both, that may or may not be traversable in one go. Listener's discretion is advised.

Many albums featured here may borrow elements from other genres (prog, thrash, melodeath, grindcore, post, etc.), but the dominant stench of complexity-laden death metal is forever present, and so deserve to be mentioned here.

1. Decapitated - Winds Of Creation
2. Nile - Annihilation Of The Wicked
3. Necrophagist - Onset Of Putrefaction
4. Obscura - Cosmogenesis
5. Gorod - A Perfect Absolution

Booooobs

They are on covers of every Metal genre and staged in all ways one can think of: Boobs! Noticing that there are are a few covers with this part of the female body (NO man boobs - NO Manowar) on it, I had the idea to make a list with those CDs. At the beginning, there were only 25 albums on it -which is not very much-, but with looking out for boobs on Metal covers, it became longer and longer. And now, it is a list with 203 albums and suggestions are always welcome!

1. Abaddon Incarnate - The Last Supper
2. Abrasive - Awakening of Lust
3. Abrasive - The Birth...Born In Sodom
4. Acheron - Rebirth: Metamorphosing Into Godhood
5. Acrimonious - Sunyata

Space Metal!

***Currently working through suggestions and adding some spacey non-metal things when they cross my mind***
As a lover of all things sci-fi I find metal to be the most accommodating of genres when it comes to themes of space/aliens. This is a list of those albums which use this theme and/or evoke an overall 'spacey' atmosphere and which I find particularly intriguing and enjoyable. No order for now and a work in progress (recommendations most welcome) Last Updated: 9th April 2014

1. Atoma - Skylight
2. Ayreon - The Universal Migrator Part I: The Dream Sequencer
3. Dol Ammad - Star Tales
4. Star One - Space Metal
5. Pagan's Mind - Enigmatic : Calling

A List Of Great Debut Albums

A lot of bands have great debut albums. Obviously this list is just a fraction of all the great debut albums out there, but it's a start. I'll keep expanding this list continuously, so all suggestions are welcome (granted they are featured on MS). All the albums here are ranked according to genre and then alphabetically. If a certain album belongs to the (in your opinion) wrong genre, then definitely let me know.

1. [Avantgarde]
2. Aarni - Bathos
3. Arcturus - Aspera Hiems Symfonia
4. Diablo Swing Orchestra - The Butcher's Ballroom
5. Sadness - Ames De Marbre
