7 Albums That Get Me Kickin'
At times, we neglect a certain genre or overall sound due to a "kick" of something that we greatly enjoy. This is a list that goes in circular motions - as the releases tag-out the current "kick", getting us back into something we know we love, but almost forgot about...then back to a previous one - and so on, and so forth. |
1.
Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas
2.
My Dying Bride - A Line Of Deathless Kings

Winter's Freezing Clutches
Autumn is gone, ushering in the mercilessly short days of skin-tenderizing, soul-weakening, weariness-inducing WINTER. Take thyself to a healthy state of depression for sake of joining the spirit instead of being beaten...so here's the soundtrack (with a few oddballs that don't fit the thematic mood, but that's just how I am). |
1.
My Dying Bride - Turn Loose The Swans
2.
Sentenced - Down | |
3.
Mercyful Fate - In The Shadows
4.
Arch Enemy - Stigmata | |
5.
Carcass - Heartwork |

Vocal Affairs
Sove very good releases have been created without the inclusion of the vocalist that a band is famous for having; the one everyone thinks of when the group is mentioned. Sometimes these bands surprise us with a well-known replacement, a fill-in, or a remaining band member. These releases are more than worthy of listening to, liking, loving, or even (in some cases) proclaiming superiority over the regular line-up. This was put together quick, and will be tweaked and fine-tuned as time goes on. |
1.
The Crown - Crowned In Terror
2.
Bloodbath - Nightmares Made Flesh
3.
Judas Priest - Jugulator
4.
Pyramaze - Immortal | |
5.
Black Sabbath - Born Again |
