Sugg, Ol' Timey http://www.metalstorm.net/bands/band_suggestions.php
Collection of various suggestions I've made for addition to MS's db, not necessarily new bands or with new releases, but with a few "bonus" recent things on the end to check out in the future Please don't forget, you're able to search fragments on MS, so "kanam" (from the right place/page) should return #3 on this list; searching "ggress" on the suggestions page (link provided) will show band #2 (and atm, one other) while "gress" will also find and show in the results all bands that have been labelled as "progressive"

Good Things Take Time Essentially I composed this list as a note-to-self not to take my negative first impressions so seriously. Most of these tend to be works I initially rated a couple points (/10) lower, because the music didn't seem all that great to my ears. Again, most, tend to have increased value once I delved into the lyrics - sometimes entirely away from the music. Yeah... normally I couldn't care less whether you're singing about clown-phobias, alien invasions, SC battles, real war on Earth or alternative uses for vacuum cleaners. Oh, and on that note: Acid Reign (ensure Bandcamp-player is enabled in your user Settings) - is that another band's music entirely?

Worship at the Altar of Demos No, I haven't yet really checked out MS' own 'Clandestine Cuts' demo-highlighting series. Lemme know, if you will, which ones might be the aces in the holes - and what's the best demo you've ever heard?
(write-ups are also on the way for Morbid Angel, Kataklysm, & possibly Nasca and Verm; text for Asphyx & Abandoned may or may not come... they kinda sing for themselves)

Please Stop Feeding Crap to Your FOC In the last several hours, I have (as is rarely the case) had a good, big breakfast + dinner.
I feel great. ...as is rarely the case. So - what have I consumed, to put this diamond-in-the-rough smile on my dial? For once, no junk. No crap. No chips, no lollies, no chocolate bars, no Great White Bread. No shark either - but indeed, some fantastic fish.

Top (and/or unduly passed-over) Power Metal (?) With the express exclusion of Na, Mg, K, Ca, Cr, Fe, Cu, W, Hg, etc.
EP, full-length albums, & single song picks from a Guy Who's Not Really into PM... Yeah, I should have put up Viron's cover art as the image but that Dokken single (theme song of Nightmare on Elm Street movie #3) just looks far more interesting. Whether or not that was a PM addition to a Hollywood soundtrack may be a point of relevance, but to me it's immaterial. Go listen to the music!

For to Listen Yet Again (bespoke, unfunny subtitle: 21 mostly fantastic songs in 2 hours) Because I'd sooner spend an hour-and-a-half with Pokemon than a mindless action movie. I know you know what I'm talkin' about. ...No, not that. Honestly - some people...
(Seriously though, happy 67th birthday + 6+7 days to Neil Young. Hope I see you next year )

Really Wucking Fish I Had a Drum-Set Apologies, of the most sincere kind, for the Spoonerism. It's really not my style, but some could argue it was necessary...
