17 Crash - Split With Drummer
Italian rockers 17 Crash confirmed that they have parted ways with longtime bandmate/drummer Phil Hill. Phil was part of the band since the very beginning.
Statement from the group is as follows: "Dear all, as some of you might have learned already, we have officially parted ways with our dear Phil. This has been a very difficult decision we took all together in the past few weeks after much thinking and honestly, quite hard-to-process feelings as well. Phil has been a pillar for 17 Crash since day zero and a lot has been going on during the past 13 years, this is why we will always be grateful for all the fantastic adventures we had together both on and off stage. Even if TV series and movies taught us that each breakup comes with inevitable drama, we are afraid we must disappoint such expectations as we simply sat together, talked this through and decided for what we all think is best.
"We wish Phil all sorts of amazing things for his future, we’ll always be there for each other because strong friendships simply go beyond any professional choice we make and there is a private field of emotions we will keep alive, no matter what.
"Naturally, we understand there might be some kind of concern for what’s next in line for us as a band but given this was no sudden move we can assure you we are here, alive and kicking, and ready to take the leap. In the next few weeks, we will have the pleasure of introducing you to a new 17 Crash formula, new content and a ton of new music we are extremely excited about. Thank you for your support."
