The Duskfall - Lineup Changes, Recording New Album
Luleå native sons The Duskfall went through a massive line-up change after their return in 2014. Now, the band has parted ways with guitarist Ronny Edlund and announced that Jakob Björnfot will take over guitar duties. The band is in the studio working on the new album The Everlasting Shadows and recording it.
The Duskfall explained: "Friends of the fallen. When you play melodic death metal you need to have melodic guitarists and it's no secret that we have lacked a live lead guitarist that can handle all our solos. We have had superior guest guitarists on our previous albums which we are really grateful of. Now we had a chance to add a super talented young guitarist, who can perform both in the studio and live on stage, to our ranks. This was something that was needed to be done. We thank Ronny for his duties in the band and he is a super solid guitar guy but not the lead kind of way what the band needs. So here - we give you our new lead guy: Jakob Björnfot."
