This is a pretty fun album despite overstaying its welcome after the first half of material. The subtle melodies and technically proficient elements give it some added punch, but there just isn't enough groove or replay value for me to revisit in the future. I think their biggest strength is when they freestyle it and throw down some of those sexy licks, but they spend too much time meandering with the incessant no frills death metal chugging. They obviously have a lot more to offer than that, and could honestly stand to change up their style if they wanted to be taken seriously by more mainstream audiences.
