I did not expect this coming. I also wishes somehow that he would not release anything under LOC name to preserve the legendary status of that album. However, the song released is really amazing and fits perfectly with the esprit of that record. I hope the rest of the songs are as great.

Totally down for this. From the Bandcamp description it's not just going to be old demo material, there will be some never before heard stuff on here too. It also seems as though Wrest has given it all a better sense of structure and arranged it together so that it flows like a regular full length despite technically being a compilation. My curiosity is honestly through the roof.

GOT THE PROMO FOR IT!!!!!  On my third spin now. To my ears this is a lot more droney and ambient oriented than the debut. Whereas Lurker Of Chalice can loosely be dubbed "ambient black metal," the tracks here are a lot more like "blackened dark ambient" or something. I'm very curious to see what people ultimately end up thinking of this considering the fact that it isn't quite as black metal - heavy as the legendary debut.

Not bad for what it is. Basically a collage of LoC sounds in ambient form, with some rock-y bits. The trip-hop / electronic beats are an interesting surprise though.

Pretty good off first spin. It definitely flowed well between songs for a compilation, so a bit of effort went in. I've no idea which songs are old demos and which are new, but that doesn't matter for me

You can tell that it's a demo, it's way less impactful and monumental as the LP album, BUT it's really good for a demo.
