Iconoclast
Excellent album, every song stands on its own, even the more elusive ones like "Hatred"(where you can clearly hear the Sabbath influence) or "Gates of Valhalla"(with some excellent atmospheric bass work in the intro).

The sound can be good, but the cover is a big crappy maybe the worst artwork ever.

My favourite Manowar album. "Gloves of metal" and "Secrets of Steel" are just outstanding.

Infernal Eternal

Cheesy artwork but great content (the songs). The album material shows a progression from their early style to a heavier approach. This should be the "entry level" Manowar release. Listen to this before anything else by the band.

Well it's metaller and heavier Manowar than on the debut. A solid album from the beginning to the end, even if it doesn't have any really killer songs IMO.

It has an absolute killer of a song on it in the form of Revelation (Death's Angel)
This album and Hail To England are the Pinnacle of Manowar's discography.

Maybe my vote is misleading since it's not based on logic. The album "deserves" better than 6, because it's good and consistent, but my feeling says it's missing real highlights. The album works good as whole, but I cannot listen to its songs 1by1.

Massive letdown from the debut. What Manowar intended to achieve with the intro to warlord is a mystery. The last album in which the lyrics of Manowar were tolerable.

You are not metal enough until you visit Kenya. The cradle of mankind, where man learnt first to work with stones and first enjoyed the sounds produced by banging stones which later influenced metal in all its sounds and genres.

You can definitely hear where Atlantean Kodex got their inspiration from. They took the formula from this album and made it better in every single way.

It's a nice album even if it feels a bit unfinished. There's not many songs here I can call great but luckily there's nothing disastrous either. My favourite is Secret of Steel followed by Revelation. Hatred is possibly the weakest one and could have been traded off to the more solid Defender (which got left off the album). If that was the case I think the 7 would be given. Lands on a 6 for now.

A Nice Guy
This album is not as macho as the cringy album cover has led me to believe. There are a few good moments, alot of cheesiness, and a poor production, much like the debut really. There are a few stand out tracks being "Gates Of Valhalla", and "Revelation", but even they had their cringy moments. I would say this is one of their more enjoyable and engaging albums, although the songwriting isn't quite to the same standard as other Manowar releases.
