The concept is good, and there are some good moments here and there, but overall I don't enjoy this as much as I do their debut. I think the album lacks focus and despite being really good musicians, they play too safely here. "The Signs of Faith" has more memorable moments and melodies.

Agreed. I like it but it's not as coherent as the previous one. Still a good one though.

Good album, I really like the concept and its heavier tone. The inclusion of the Ukrainian sung tracks feel super unique and I find them really interesting. The songs feel a bit more focused with less diversity than the debut - less symphonic and progressive moments overall. The album is also crazy short. Clocking in at 36 minutes (not including the bonus, which is just track 2 in english). That's 10 minutes shorter than the debut! It also feels a bit cheap to throw 'Queen Die's' on here when it was released back in 2018... Anyway, its worth a listen for anyone who enjoyed the debut but it's overall a bit of a let down.

Highlights: Black Flame, Jinnslammer, Disenchantment

I mean it's Epica worship lol

but my only real gripe is that it's practically brickwalled. Whoever did the engineering needs to have turned everything down a notch. Their new album from this year is a significant improvement in this regard.
