Not sure if, at this point, Accept should be called Wolf Hoffmann Group instead. Or something along these lines anyway.

Nice cover art.

I hope this is better than The Rise of Chaos, something didn't click with that one. I've otherwise enjoyed all the Tornillo releases

It is better. But the bar was quite low, since The Rise of Chaos was way too inferior to the 3 albums that came before it.

Oh man, "Overnight Sensation" must've already been written by one of the multitude of hard rock bands in the 80s, it's such a generic repetition of that sound. I remember liking Blood Of The Nations/Stalingrad when they were out and I had more of an appetite for the classic heavy metal sound, but albums like this just make me wonder what the motivation would be to listen to these songs over the endless supply of better songs that sound exactly the same and have already been recorded.

I thought it was pretty good off first listen. Much better that The Rise of Chaos, but I'll need a few more spins before I can really tell

The mix is identical to Firepower. Have Halford sing "Zombie Apocalypse" and tell me it is not a Judas Priest song from that album.

It's decent, but that's pretty much it. At this point they're mostly just recycling the most basic cliche heavy metal riffs and lyrics, it's so devoid of anything creative or traumatizing that the mainstream heavy metal audience is going to love it for sure. If AC/DC can make the exact same records and songs for multiple decades and people still eat them up, then I don't see why Accept couldn't do the same with this one.

Bad English

Seems sound is trademark after reformed accept or if we can say so. Few riffs, good HM sound, strong album if you like heavy metal, (now I think what would happen if Ac/DFc covers this band lol) To me best song is Nr3 here, somehow different. Even it sounds as older ones, I can not say bad things, strong album IMO:
Undertaker is killer song to me, like intro and lyrics.
The Best is Yet to come is killer heavy ballad song

There are some enjoyable tracks on this, but at the same time there are quite a few duds as well. Overall, I'd say it's ok, but also pretty spotty.

While I wouldn't call them killer songs, I do agree with BE that "Undertaker" and "The Best Is Yet To Come" are good songs. Zombie Apocalypse is a solid one as well.

One thing is for sure though, this is not the record you should be looking for, if you want some original sounding riffs. You won't find that here.

Listened it coupla a times, it's an enjoyable record for sure. Not their best songwriting -- obviously at this point? -- it's good enough to spend at least a couple of hours listening to IMO. Some songs I'd skip if I was to listen it again, some songs I'd play more than once. Fav songs (best 2 worst): The Best Is Yet To Come, Zombie Apocalypse, The Undertaker and How Do We Sleep.

I might rate it higher later -- I am an Accept fangay after all. Let's see how the songs sound after some time.

I don't see a difference compared to the previous release. Some solid tracks, others are filler (Overnight Sensation & Sucks To Be You), production is great, solos are pretty average. In the 80's they way more interesting riffs and solos. Pretty average for this band.

This album is way behind the previous two albums for sure but still I will not categorize them as bad album makers. After all these years and hand full of albums, I still find few songs worth re listens which is not the case of so many new bands. Production, as usual is really good.

What is up with bands thinking they can getting away with releasing the same album again and again but with degrading quality on each subsequent release. I am so sick of bands doing this crap.

Once again an alright album with some decent tracks but I still feel a bit bored. I think it's time to change the producer to begin with, every album since the comeback sounds nearly identical. I liked how it was in the 70's, 80's and 90's and even a bit into the 00's where bands could change the sound and even the songwriting direction between records and it felt fresh in that way. Nowadays it's quite common that bands want the albums to sound exactly like the ones before.
