Fuck yes, this shit slaps hard. hardcore/sludge, but leaning closer to the latter and doing well because of it. That first track does a great job of setting the scene, although I did spend some time trying to find where I'd accidentally turned the volume down before realizing that it was intentional Spotify going straight into the first song from the new Erdve album afterwards really highlighted that I prefer sludge/hardcore albums that prioritize the former
