Hoping for more of the grunge from the first album and less of the Tame Impala from III. Still love all 3 albums for different reasons! Even with the member change I'm staying optimistic for this one.

Bit of a disappointment on first listens, although with the complete line-up revamp maybe a big shift isn't surprising. Still, stuff like "Big Brain Monsters" is neither the languid stoner of I/II or the Floydian psychedelia of III, it actually feels closer to Tame Impala mentioned above. That's fine, but it's not really what made this band stand out before; there's songs here that are closer, but overall it's probably not going to be one I spend much time with

Excellent, I'm impressed at their comeback. I enjoyed this quite a bit, needs more listens but I'm not disappointed at all.
