Loads of metalheads talk big about how metal isn't dangerous anymore. Well, not "here". There's still places in the world where metal is actual resistance. And regardless of how much we glorify and romanticize that, I wish we lived in a world where Confess didn't have to make Revenge At All Costs in exile.

I've been looking forward to this since MS interviewed Nikan Khosravi and, man, this is a great album. Everything about it speaks to their experience of imprisonment and exile; anyone who continues making music in spite of those things deserves recognition. I probably would have passed this by since I'm not huge into thrash, so thanks to MS and RaduP for introducing Confess and Nikan's story to a larger audience. I hope it gets the recognition it deserves.

Full on aggression, with endless grooves, very Pantera'ish, I like it. I can sort of tolerate the vocals, but not really my cup of tea.
