Totally milde Easter inspired music, folk music, nothing from true doom here. Boring

Per their Bandcamp:

"This is the third in our ongoing collaborative series: die Sprachen der Vögel (The Languages of Birds). Primarily released on tape and digital these are short to medium length EPs that feature Völur collaborating with local and international artists. We are joined on this EP by Arif Mirbaghi (Zuze, Qame Feraq, The Double Cuts, Protest the Hero) on the tanbur: a kurdish/persian three stringed lute similar to a dotar or saz or any number of Turkic or Persian adjacent instruments stretching across Central Asia."

It's an interesting idea, these collaborations. It reminds me of Odraza's Acedia from earlier this year; while Acedia was created for a museum exhibition, both bands are doing something that, as far as I know, is out of the norm for metal. While I don't think this will become a trend by any means I do think more collaborations like these with musicians from outside metal would be interesting.
