Maybe most power metal album whit less HM elements, still heavy, energetic, powerful and good.

This record is surprisingly excellent! Yes it's super cheesy but It's also super melodic, super catchy, and super fun, it's a great mix of power and folk, and for me it's like listening to a combination of Ensiferum and Blind Guardian. That goes without saying that the Tolkien based theme around the Dwarves had contributed to winning me over anyway  I found every track enjoyable, but "Gates Of Ekrund", "Fellows Of The Hammer" and "Am The Mountain" are my favourites.

For me this was the clear atoy in the power metal category. This lacks originality to get a 9, but it's a very strong 8 in my book. It feels epic and makes use of all the elements of cheesy metal without actually feeling cheesy, for a wonderful result.
