Time can provide many things. It can provide perspective, maturity, and wisdom. It can also show signs of deterioration.

Funny thing I've only ran into one of those elitist that say their not metal on a CoverKillerNation video. Of course he brought up Slipknot is for posers ( and I don't like Slipknot but I find those comments to be cringy and so try hard) . Also well brought up if it's not on MA it's not metal, and brought up one of his favorite butt buddies Hipsterblackmetal and his cringy video. Says I shouldn't take him lightly and he's right being a troll why would I and his useless points.

MA doesn't feature Rammstein, AC/DC, Nine Inch Nails or Marilyn Manson, but they do have Motörhead, a band that famously proclaimed that they played Rock 'n Roll. I don't quite understand the way they have drawn their line.

This album is kind of boring. Dunno if they were trying to go for a more mellow, keyboard driven sound or what but it's making the songs come across as flat, dull and in some cases, half-baked.

7 is a pretty high rating for an album you have nothing positive to say about.

I give it a 6.5. The performances are adequate and the production is solid. Tilll sounds great and there are a few songs I generally like. If I were to do a review it would be scored something like this:

Performance: 7
Songwriting: 6
Originality: 6
Production: 8

Which comes out to a 6.8 and I rounded up. I'm gonna listen to it another time tomorrow and maybe my score will change then.

It's not an awful album, just nothing amazing.

First 8 tracks are good, some better than other. Zeit is a standout here.

If the title of the last song is a real indication of their future, this is their last album !

Who gave you that idea? It's just a track that closes the album. Never trust a band's hints of a farewell. There are too many things involved, including the earnings from each farewell tour. I see such acts as publicity stunts to attract attention, with an incentive to fill out venues. And then there's reunions. Rammstein are a tight act, with no signs of internal bickering, so not the case of members jumping at each others' throats to disband. How long they take in between each album is another matter.
A nice track to close a Rammstein show for sure.

Brutal Water

The last track feels like something they're gonna use as a concert finisher. Whenever that song is playing I can't help but try to imagine it live. It even has a few bits that feel like placeholders for audience interaction.

So no, I don't think that this is intended to be their last album.

The Entity

I could only listen to the album as it is 2 times, having 2 ballads in a row as track 2 and 3 really kills the pace and was really annoying me...
Then I just shuffled the order abit like this = 1, Armee Der Tristen 2, Giftig 3, Schwarz 4, Angst 5, Zeit 6,OK 7, Meine Tränen 8, Zick Zack 9, Dicke Titten 10, Lugen 11, Adieu

Armee/Giftig really gives the album a propper "1/2 punch" before going every-other-track with the ballads. Still way to many soft songs but atleast it has been growing and is not longer my least favorite Rammstein album. I just have to listen to it in my own shuffle.

Well the last song certainly would be fitting for a last album.

Worst Rammstein album, by far. Armee der Tristen, Zeit and Giftig are the only songs I can see myself listen to regularly. Why is everything so monotonous? And what the hell happened to Till's lyrics? OK and Dicke Titten aren't even funny, it's just childish at this point, as if the guy was 12 instead of almost 60. The whole thing feels like a collection of leftover bits that they put out to go on tour again to make some money after the Covid-break. Massive disappointment.

Rammstein shows they can take up an impressive range of subject, not only doing social commentary kind of songs but many with an element of comedy.
On the one hand, there is informed criticism of plastic surgery on the other it's offset by the raw sexual drive in the songs you deem childish. The video for Dicke Titten vindicates it for me in its imaging. Haven't they released Pussy much in the same vein? It's pure fun, like it or not, childish? I'd say driven by a primal instinct that's part of healthy human beings.
