I’m happy to forget Undying Light if you are, Fallujah, and from listening to Empyrean, I get the impression that you're on board with this approach.

The Galactician

Probably the highest on my anticipation list for 2022.

First listen didn't inspire a lot of confidence. To be honest this album felt like 1 long song. I'll try it again.

The last album was bloody awful. I'm glad they've ditched that vocalist and moved away from the deathcore sound at least.

A Nice Guy
It has some impressive lead guitarwork, and decent drumming, with a consistently good rhythm throughout. The riffs are a little chuggish at times and I often find the melodies a wee bit dull, and songwriting is fairly generic, but overall it's quite a solid release.

Still need to give it a few more listens to see how it stands up next to The Flesh Prevails/Dreamless, but what a relief that they've realized that Undying Light was a bit crap and have gone back to what made them unique

This does the thing, glad to see them back. Slightly inferior to TFP/Dreamless but there's some excellent tracks on here. Also, I saw them live for the first time a few nights ago, they were excellent
