Sure it's not your typical black metal album, to me it sounds more like a sacrificial ritual taking place by the way in which it's structured and produced, and with the harsh vocals that sound more like sinister chanting. It's hard to take in at first, not for me really, as it lacks any kind of groove, but I admire it's concept, especially considering it's a solo project.
