Bring it fucking on.
Edit: it is already released and I'm listening to it right now. Sounds as amazing as ever for now.

I know they are not too musically similar, but mood-wise, WS is the spiritual successor to Acid Bath and their legendary debut.

I want to like it, but there's not nearly enough variation to keep it interesting. It relies too heavily on the vocal performance IMO. "Concrete Covers Dead Lovers" is a fantastic track though. I don't see how any of this is remotely close to sounding like Acid Bath in musicality or mood. I think if you liked the new Unto Others album, you'd like this.

I'd rather listen to Hozier if I want some vocal dominated chamber/atmospheric rock.

I really think this is their weakest album. If you have not checked their previous records, go for Sick City:

I cant really say which aspect of their music makes a similar mood to Acid Bath. I guess they just both emit the same type of misanthropic, swampy vibe on albums dominated by clean vocals.
