You can tell by how little effort they put into their music

The bloke is wearing a Panzerfaust album cover on the back of his hoodie, so is this suppose to suggest to us an album of similar style or influence? or maybe it's no significance whatsoever

And this exactly is what I respect and love this band for, you never know what to expect from these guys, but somehow they always manage to positively surprise me with each record. I know many people can't resonante with their new stuff anymore, but especially the last 5 records are an amazing mix of Heavy, Doom and Black Metal, living and honouring the old spirit.

I love their last three albums so they're doing something right.
They don't tour, all Fenriz appears to do is drink beer, listen to metal and write music! (I'm probably doing him an injustice by saying that but I get the impression he has quite a lot of spare time on his hands).

Oh, god, I hope it doesn't sound like Panzerfaust.

Best tracks are the first and last (that intro!) which gives a positive impression to another mixed bag. Impeccable Caverns and Stalagmite have really weak riffs, which I wouldn't expect on a DT album.
Interesting to see more use of synths and even an interlude.
Overall a bit subpar, especially after the greatly enjoyable Old Star and Eternal Hails.

Never been a huge fan of DT, but I really appreciate their weird mix of musical styles and diversity in their riffs.
This new album is pretty decent, I kinda enjoy it. But. BUT: THIS COVER. It's beyond amazing.
I'm buying it on Vinyl and I don't even own a record player.

This is my first time listening to a Darkthrone album that isn't from their early 90s era. I like it! The riffs are really interesting - like on the songs "Stalagmite Necklace" and "Kevorkian Times". I guess I've got to listen to more of their recent albums

For me personally I would put this on par with Old Star and slightly ahead of Eternal Hails. I've not heard Old Star for some time though, but I fo remember enjoying it, and it having some really good riffs.

Fenriz's vocals still blow, but some of the songs are fun. Really gives me "local band" vibes.

It's raw unpolished primitive crust puk, rock, metal go and d figure out this genre is. Each album new vibes old vibes rawness and so good composition that it's just drums and primitive guitar riffs and some drink boy lyrics. I like it, rare album whit so called raw sound i like. But it's not so raw because studio work is good.

I couldn't find anything fresh with their music. They just give an impression that they are old-school and the vocals are highly supporting it. Nothing other than that.

At first listen the album sounded uninteresting, but after 3 listens I found the album to be half decent, the riffs not too bad. Hey, I kind of like it now.
