Despite the success of Triarchy Of The Lost Lovers in terms of sales and critical acclaim, Rotting Christ came really close to disbanding altogether shortly after its release. Sakis Tolis was left alone to steer the ship and it's a small miracle that he didn't hit the rocks.

Ya know, this is a classic album and all, but I wish the second half was a bit more interesting. The first few songs have all of the most memorable riffs. That first track is just perfect. One of their best.

Actually, I like the last three tracks (of the original release) quite a lot. I do love Sorrowfull Farewell, As If By Magic, Ira Incensus, and the fantastic all instrumental ride: Ten Miles High!!!
