There's nothing groovy about this and it's fairly predictable, but for death metal it has all you need really, deep monstrous growls, thunderous drumming, bone crushing riffs and an Earth shattering tone! I ageee with Musclassia's comment, for me this is certainly well up there with Immolation and Hath for death metal AOTY! This album demands recognition IMHO

I personally love Hath and Immolation, but this does nothing for me. The songs have no groove, no intensity, no memorable structures or so immemorable structures that they could be memorized... I don´t know, but there is really nothing special here for me. I have heard all of this a lot of times before.
