The album is good, for sure, but I miss the band's raw power of the debut.

+ someone on the YT comment section mentioned about Funeral Mist similarities, I can totally hear that.

A Nice Guy
A pretty solid traditional black metal release with an element of black' n roll and a touch of avent-garde, that's how I'd put it anyway. It's quite enjoyable despite being utterly manic, it has a brutally fast aggressive tempo, a dark mysterious atmosphere, an excellent guitar tone, and crazily good drumming, one of the best abd most powerful black metal performances so late on this year

All around solid and enjoyable. Quite varied too, with different ideas. Highlight must be Engin Vorkunn, really catchy and love the subtile keys. Perhaps my least favorite aspect is the interludes at the end of most tracks, feel like they drag on unnecessarily. Would have prefered to just have a cool ambient track at the end like Stjörnuþoka.
Production is great, such an improvement over Algleymi (it really dragged down that album). Overall I still prefer the debut for its rawness and dissonance.

I'm enjoying this album a lot.

Great guitar tone, great vocals, and fantastic drumming. I'll need to work back and check out their older stuff now, as I may have found a new favourite band.

Pretty good album. Engin vorkunn has a nice change of pace. Aftaka's main riff is just delicious.
