Sage Of Shekhinah is full of very odd time signatures & fast changing song dynamics which is definitely a nightmare for listeners with ADHD. It takes atleast a few listens to comprehend and appreciate this fine piece of art. It is an unique focus consuming album made by incredibly talented musicians which is sadly too technical & complex for an average joe listening to metal. It is a hard but also a rewarding and quintessential listen by an underappreciated band ahead of it`s time. My verdict is 8.5 out of 10 just because it`s too chaotic & breeds confused state of mind especially for a rookie prog-tech death metal afficionados. Luckily it is only 34 minute long listen which is a relief. Otherwise it is a perfect album imo! Hope they get the attention they deserve although i doubt it -_-

Same as with other Contrarian albums, also here i feel a strong Death vibe, especially a sound of perseverance one... maybe albums are not memorable, but still i keep coming back to them for the vibe, for the aura, for the music... so maybe they are memorable after all

A cool album overall with some real technical wizardry going on. Lot's of fine guitar and bass work, complex rhythm and tempo changes, impressive shredding, and some wicked drumming skills. It has some unusual jazzy elements and can be a wee bit mind bobbling at times, but it's still an impressive all-round performance. It's like a mix of Atheist and Death's SOP.

Loved the Death-esque guitars and the lyrical themes. I can also acknowledge the great musicianship but otherwise, this album just didn't do much for me.
