What exactly do we have here, I wonder? Is it black or is it death? Well, whatever Úlfúð have pulled off here, it's pretty darn good.

Pretty snazzy 'not quite death, not quite black, not quite blackened death' extreme album that takes good elements from both worlds

A Nice Guy
Great album this, it has such a great rhythm and tempo, and solid structure, with some solid grooves and melodies, a great combination of harsh and aggressive shrieks and growls, and such a quality dramatic sound. I agree with the above comment, it's bang in the middle of black and death but not quite blackened death if that makes sense

"An Elegy To A Paradise Out Of Reach" is the main highlight for me, I'm not knocking any of the other tracks, but that track in particular is great

This somehow reminded me of Nordjevel but it's better. I like how the sound variates from calmer bits to more aggressive parts. I also like the Elegy song the best. It has some nice variety from melancholy to great rhythm and tempo. Album cover art is mysterious and I like it too.
