Man, there is nothing doom about this album, this is just heavy metal through and through. Spirit Adrift haven't played any doom since Curse Of Conception. The album is ok, the music is fine, but his vocals are bad. Divided By Darkness had such amazing songs that I didn't mind his poor vocals, but everything after is not on the same level musically, even though this album is his best since Divided By Darkness. At this point, Spirit Adrift is just a better version of Haunt, which is not very flattering.

Man, there is nothing doom about this album, this is just heavy metal through and through. Spirit Adrift haven't played any doom since Curse Of Conception. The album is ok, the music is fine, but his vocals are bad. It still has "doom" spirit in there. To me this band do not let down in albums, all ate enjoyable in ists entry.

I have to admit I'm not too keen on the vocals, but the music is great, especially the guitar work, there's some excellent traditional heavy metal riffing and some pretty impressive solo's.

I think the only previous Spirit Adrift album I've heard is Curse Of Conception, and otherwise I only know of the Angry Metal Guy drama. I can understand Nik's issues with the vocals, I'm not keen on them either, but I'd say otherwise this is relatively good for trad heavy; it has some meh parts (Hanged Man's Revenge could have been made by anyone in the last 4 decades) but there's some genuinely cool riffs and passages here. Certainly, feels like they have far more in the locker than Haunt (who seem to be far more prolific than SA as well)

Good old heavy metal sound. Nice to hear the melodies and riffs.

This is too good and started growing listen after listen.
