This is freaking excellent. I'm so glad I was able to get my CD before the release date.

Has the similar melancholic style and sound to band's like Insomnium and Be'lakor, so it has some nice melodic moments and meaningful lyrics, but it's just a tad too dreary and dull for my taste unfortunately.

Like I said if bands origin are from North they somehow manage win by cold menalholy. Here well it has melodies, riffs, but to be some special they need find something more.-

I like this band. Their debut was one among my favorites. Somehow this did not reach that height but still an excellent album.

In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘

Interesting. So, I just listened to AmongRuins release Land of the Black Sun, and then this album next, back to back. I noticed that you had much preferred AmongRuins' album.

I actually found myself thinking the complete opposite. AmongRuins just didn't scratch that melodic itch like Aetherian did; then again, I am a huge Insomnium fan lol. Land of the Black Sun was still a good album, I would say 7.5 personally, I just really loved At Storm's Edge.
