This is the best Astarte album imo. It is not random that it is high rated everywhere. It reminds of early Darkthrone as it is minimalistic raw black, insisting in atmosphere, but also with more melodic tendencies. The excellent female black metal vocals drew some attention back then, but I think this band never got the popularity deserved.
