After the relatively muted response to the positively bitesize Sonder in 2018, TesseracT have pulled out all the stops this time around; new record War Of Being is accompanied by not just a video game based on the album’s concept, but there’s apparently also a novel in the works. Listened through 3 times already. They were very inspired when creating this album. The production is wonderful. Vocals are the best they've ever been for this band. There isn't a bad song here. Probably my AOTY but I recognize I'm biased.

This has everything I hate about metalcore. No djent or math elements to be found whatsoever. Absolutely unlistenable, I don't know what everyone else is on about.
