It is commendable that Full Of Hell keeps reinventing itself by adding outside influences to their grindcore formula. Still, the new sounds have to make sense, and Coagulated Bliss shows a band losing touch with what made them great.

Wow huge departure from their traditional sound. More experimental/alternative rock with harsh vocals. You can definitely hear the Melvin’s/Sonic Youth inspiration (Spencer is a huge fan).

Yeah not good. I’m sure the Needle Drop-esque folk will love this new “experimental” approach, but the song writing is sloppy and all over the place. Doesn’t really fit with Walker’s vocals either. Maybe they just wanted to drop something different from their last several albums, but this misses the mark.

Just feels like a really sloppy album overall, it has some cool moments like Fractured Bonds to Mecca but as a whole it just didn’t work for me

Oh my, I just heard the track "Fractured Bonds To Mecca" and... Yeah, not happy. Is the whole albvum like this?

If so, this is gonna be a hard one to sit through and review.

I’ll definitely echo the sentiments in some of the comments here. I’ve always appreciated FOH’s willingness to depart from traditional grind and -core songwriting, but really from about Weeping Choir on it seems as though they’ve been trying to gradually make their sound more and more experimental and this is just too much

This album really has me missing their earlier, more Powerviolence - sounding days. Less original, perhaps, but far more punchy, catchy, and memorable than this jumbled whatchamacallit here. Back to the debut I go then, I guess 🙄

I genuinely don’t know how I feel about this.

It's got some "this is really interesting" as well as some "this is a sloppy mess" to it. I wish the whole album had been more like "Fractured Bonds To Mecca" and "Bleeding Horizon." A fully downtempo Full Of Hell LP would be something

I remember I had a song I really liked on this, but I can't remember what it was and I have no desire to revisit the album to find out.

More's the pity.

Just sat again hoping to see what "changed" from "Weeping Choir". It is poles apart.

Not a great listen.
