One can fall in love with this album since the first listening and with this review I will explain the reasons.

Right in the beginning one might feel like being taken on a journey when the song "Otherworld" opens the gates to a superior art of storytelling music.
The title track then introduces the listeners to the metal style Eluveitie have always been known for, mighty and beautiful folk melodies together with heavy guitars, bass and drums.

This album is great, evocation was way to soft for my taste, but this album is better!great lyrics, great music,i gave it 10!i think they were trying to say that everything changes,in a weird way,and i think that some songs prove that point of view!

The album is amazing..I 've been listening to it over and over again and it takes my mind away every time, although it's not their best work so far. The lyrics are meaningful and the music makes you wanna close your eyes and listen 'till you die (it's typical of this kind of music) ... So go get a beer and enjoy the great album!!:metal:

Wtf? fuck the title, and care abt the magical music!
Cant w8 to see eluveitie live for 2nd time! In hellfest they created one great alive and real metal crowd with their performance and their communication with them (including me)
For me, they passed their limits and i hope they will do it again and soon!

I don't know what they have that's so easy to fall in love with. No other folk metal band can be so vicious, with so well combined instruments.

Though I prefer Slania, Everything Remains As It Never Was couldn't have been better.

BTW too long title to say, I never say it all x.x

I was listening to this, and thinking "c'mon....I've heard this before." I'm sorry guys, but Slania and AD where really good, but this album.... have nothing new.... shame but it's a step back for them

hmm if you actually listened to it all the way through you would hear the new. while the first half is pretty simular to theirold stuff the second half has a shitload of new inspiration and sound. Quoth the Raven has an edgy pop sound to it with chick vocals on choruses furthering this. Do Minion has a heavier tone, is extremely epic and emotional and features great lyricism. Lugdunon is a change of pace with its upbeat alm-smiles melody and vocals. This album features a perfect blend of old and new and is the strongest yet.

The title fits well, this band only knows how to put out exactly the same thing every album

Sleep inducing music.

This album features quite a good combination of melodic death metal influences and use of folk instruments, but it has a sound of its own too. I think the faster songs are the best, as the more melodious, female-vocal charged songs such as 'Lugdunon' wander unwantedly into pop territory. Nonetheless a great folk metal album, that still manages to distinguish the band from their peers.

I wonder if the woman on the cover is supposed to be the grown up version of the Slania girl?

According to what I read on wiki or official website,

The girl on every Eluveitie's cover is the same.
